Alluca Villa is a stylish couples retreat nestled in its own private garden, surrounded by lawns, fruit trees, native trees and wildlife, with uninterrupted views over Alluca’s vineyards to the Mt Lofty Ranges beyond. A place to kick back, recharge and connect with nature, and the perfect base to explore all that’s on offer in the spectacular McLaren Vale wine region.
Generous breakfast provisions and a complimentary mini bar are provided.
The Villa
Escape from it all in this large, private, newly renovated villa. Featuring one bedroom, one bathroom, a combined kitchen, dining and living area with large glass bi-fold doors opening onto a private covered deck with expansive views.
This peaceful retreat is off a dirt road, down a long private driveway and a boardwalk across the lawn, your noisiest neighbours are the native birds and koalas in the gumtrees.
Art on the walls, magazines, cookbooks, local maps and information, board games, lawn games, yoga mats and picnic settings are all provided for guests to enjoy.
A fully stocked Alluca wine selection is available in the villa for purchase at a discounted rate, and private wine tastings can be arranged.
The Area
A 45 minute drive from Adelaide airport and city, Blewitt Springs is a sub region of McLaren Vale, a world renown wine region best known for its shiraz. Explore the incredible array of winery cellar doors, with many offering local produce as part of the tasting experience, ranging from casual platters to starred restaurants.
It’s a short stroll from Alluca Villa to Beresford Wines, Vale Ale Brewery and Restaurant, The Currant Shed, Geddes Wines, Woodstock, and Nick Haselgrove Wines.
Just a short distance from the villa to many more iconic McLaren Vale wineries and experiences. There really is something for everyone with walking, hiking and cycling trails, arthouses, the d’Arenberg Cube, national parks, farmers markets, pristine beaches, gin and whisky distilleries, craft breweries, historic pubs and townships all nearby.

Other things to note
Maximum 2 guests, minimum 2 night stay
Self check-in. Guests can be met on arrival depending on arrival time, otherwise keys are left in a security key box.
The caretakers live in a separate home on the property and can be contacted during your stay if needed.
The villa is not serviced during your stay. A mid-stay caretaker service is available on request for refreshing clean and fresh linen, additional charges apply.
Alluca Villa is situated on the grounds of a working vineyard and unfortunately cannot accommodate children or pets. From time to time there may be tractors and workers tending and harvesting the vines.
Infants under 12 months are welcome, just let us know. Travel cot and high chair can be made available.
Alluca Villa values privacy, accommodation and facilities are strictly for use of the two paying guests only, additional visitors are not permitted. No events or parties permitted.
